Emberz Thanksgiving Meal Giveaway

We’re Blessing Local Families This Holiday Season!

As we prepare to open Emberz Smoke Shop on Black Friday, November 28, 2025, we want to give back to the community that’s welcoming us.​

​

We’re donating full Thanksgiving turkey dinners to 10+ families in

East Hartford, Connecticut and surrounding areas.

Why We're Doing This?

Emberz Smoke Shop is now under new ownership and new management, and we believe every business should begin by investing in its community and not simply operating within it. Strong neighborhoods are built on support, connection, and generosity. As we prepare to open our doors, we want to show our appreciation for the people who make East Hartford such a special place.

This year, we’re giving away 10 complete Thanksgiving dinner packages. If donations allow, we’ll proudly provide full meals to even more families. Every donated dinner will include:​

​

  • 🦃 A whole turkey

  • 🍽️ Full sides

  • 🥧 Dessert (pie)

  • 🥤 Beverage

​

Priority will be given to families in East Hartford, but all nearby communities are welcome to apply.

 

No eligibility requirements. No purchases. No judgments. Just support for families who could use a little help this season.

WHAT EACH FAMILY

WILL RECEIVE:

​

Each selected family will receive a complete uncooked Thanksgiving meal package that includes:

​

  • 1 Full-size turkey

  • 1 Side of turkey stuffing

  • 1 Side of mashed potatoes

  • 1 Side of gravy

  • 1 Side of cranberry sauce

  • 1 Package of dinner rolls

  • 1 Pie (apple or pumpkin, based on availability)

  • 1 Bottled Beverage (2 Liter)

  • 1 Disposable foil pan (for turkey preparation/cooking)

  • All items are uncooked and packaged, and must be prepared by the recipient.

​

  • Meal packages will be ready for pickup on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

​

  • Pickup instructions will be provided privately to the selected families.

​

  • Each meal is estimated to feed to a family of 4-6 individuals

If you feel moved to support this initiative, we’re accepting donations to help expand the number of families receiving Thanksgiving meals.

  • 💵 Donate funds to help us purchase additional turkeys, sides, and holiday essentials.

  • 🥫 Donate food items, such as canned goods, pies, boxed stuffing, or dinner rolls.

100% of all contributions and food items go directly toward providing additional Thanksgiving meals for local households.

A Message From The New Owners

​

Emberz represents family, community, and a new beginning for us. We’re proud to launch this Thanksgiving giveaway as our way of saying thank you to our neighbors and as our first step in giving back to East Hartford and supporting the families who make this community strong.

​

As we head toward the holidays, we’ll also be hosting a December Toy Drive and donating toys to local children for Christmas — another way we hope to spread joy this season. Details to follow.
